Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened. ~Dr. Seuss

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.
~John Lennon

The thing about a photograph is that it never changes,
Even if the people in them do.
~ Andy Warhol

Expectation is the root of all heartache.
~ William Shakespeare

The only rule is don't be boring and dress cute wherever you go. Life is too short to blend in. ~Paris Hilton

I don't do fashion, I am fashion.
~Coco Chanel

I think you can be curvy and proud of it, and still be really stylish and chic. It was never realistic for me to be skinny. Skinny, to me, is only a style of jeans.

What do you do when you realize that your two best friends….

are not nearly as smart as you thought they were?

I just graduated high school and my one best friend that I’ve been holding on to because we’ve been through so much together and she was there for me when I had to deal with some really tough stuff. She lives far away and is just getting more and more wrapped up in herself. She used to be so thoughtful about other people and now every sentence is her trying to prove something to other people.

My other best friend is such a great person, but a little misguided and she is making decisions that I want to fix but I can’t and it is hard on your heart to watch a car crash in slow motion, especially when you love the car so much.

Both my friends have the same problem: they don’t realize that the only person you can please is yourself.

I have learned something during my senior year in high school. I learned that at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what the person at Starbucks thought of your shoes or how hard you tried to one up your sister so your father would favor you or even if you did one up your sister. What matters, at the end of the day, is how you feel about yourself. Are you proud of your achievements? Are you happy with who you are? You shouldn’t spend your life trying to make the most money and have the fanciest car and the newest shoes. You should make a life that when you get to your judgement day, you’re happy with the person that you present to God, because that is all that goes with you anyway. Material things, yes, they’re nice, but it’s people that make you happy and your character that really counts.

Sorry for the long winded monologue. I just had to get it out, and I don’t really know who would listen or even care. I didn’t wanna go bore my friend or family member with my rant and then life lesson. So thanks for listening! :)

Have a nice day! You’re beautiful!

I don’t think you understand like all I want is someone who will play with my hair and i can cuddle with beneath the Netflix-lit light of my living room and who I can kiss against a wall it’s not a hard request.

I was very well educated. My dad paid me to go to a very good school but, you know, when my parents divorced, we didn’t have any money for a while. My birthday present was my school uniform and my pencil cases. I think that’s one of the reason why my education means so much to me. It’s because my dad really couldn’t afford to send me to this school. At the time we just didn’t have the money. And so I worked hard every single day that I was at that school to make him proud of me and for him to know that I appreciated it. And I do, and I still do. - Emma Watson
